Students at Newcastle Academy, located on Gallowstree Lane, are celebrating today after receiving their GCSE results.
After much hard work studying and preparing, students at the school, which joined Windsor Academy Trust in January, are collecting a set of strong GCSE results and getting ready to take their next steps in their educational journey.
Newcastle Academy students are now looking forward to progressing onto their chosen further education institutions.
While all pupils have done incredibly well, there are some standout individual achievements. These include:
Collecting GCSE results today, Ibrahim, said:
“I feel great, really proud of myself. I am going on to study Maths and Computer Science. The staff have been a massive help to me all the way. The harder you work the better grades you get. I’d like to thank all the staff who have helped me over the years – thank you!”
Nicola Bromley-Smith, Headteacher at Newcastle Academy, said:
“I am incredibly proud of all of our students, who have worked hard, taken responsibility and demonstrated resilience in completing their qualifications – their success will now help to shape their next steps and I would like to wish them all the best for their future.”
Dawn Haywood, Chief Executive Officer at Windsor Academy Trust, said:
